Sarah offers psychological therapy
Psychological therapy aims to help alleviate symptoms, reduce distress and also to help you identify the root causes of your struggles so you can live a more fulfilling life.
There are several different types of psychological therapy. All involve your psychologist asking you questions, and supporting you to connect with your thoughts, feelings, and values. Therapy can also help you to build skills to manage difficulties, to heal from painful life experiences and to strengthen important relationships.
Sarah utilises evidence based therapies (those that have been proven to be effective through quality research). These include Eye Movement Desentisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal therapy (IPT). She also offers relationally focused psychotherapy to people who want to explore a broad range of personal issues and questions.
